Medical work entails getting bodily fluids for laboratory testing and performing surgeries. It can also involve grooming patients, and other physically taxing activities. In spite of this, they are expected to look neat and professional. A good medical uniform at present should keep hospital staff looking clean. Medical professionals prefer to wear uniforms too because if they have wear their own clothes to work, they may have to buy new clothes all the time.
